MOBY - WAIT FOR ME

RUNNER UP

  • MOC It's so hard to succeed in creating a world, little characters with life of their own, with such graphic limitation, and do it well enough to be understanding and touching... great job dude! (hey Dude! :D )

  • Alan Stewart Really like the video Maik, but has anyone else noticed that this video was uploaded on 06 april therefore missing the deadline, and since becoming a finalist, has been changed to 05 april....

Couldn't have just been me noticed eh?

    • Adele Its because it is from Australia, the closing GMT time of 5th of April is the 6th in Australia EST. There were alot of EST entries that had the 6th on but it is most likely changed on the details to match the GMT date. Doesnt mean they got more time, just means they entered on the other side of the world at the same time but 10 hours ahead. :)

  • pabloeyre Congrats because you are the winner. I´m not saying this video is perfect for the song but at least it´s the best from all the 6 finalists. It combines comedy and drama and that´s difficult to make it right. Moby likes animation videos so I´m sure he will choose this one. I thought Moby wanted something different but I guess this piece can work too. Congrats to all the other videos in the competition.

  • Giorgio Constantine That was very retro. I liked it. But it seems like a screencast of a game you made, but this doesn't look like you made this specifically for moby. Apart from the start screen offcourse. Anyways. Look nice but not that nice. Kudos for being a finalist though.

  • Tom McCagherty This is amazing, and you can deffinately see how much work has gone into making this, but I'm sorry to have to say this: I just don't see how it works with the song. It actually makes me feel a bit guilty to say that as it is so well made, but in my oppinion it had to be said.

  • iNTERTEXT good original idea Bisagoboo- using the track to make a statement on game culture v life - I like it, life is not what it seems when you live in a games console. As a video artist I have a different take on the brief, have a look http://genero.tv/watch-video/8002/

  • baudrillardo I love it!
I love how you decided to employ 16 bits instead of what has become now the otherwise standard nostalgia computer choice of 8 bits. I wonder when is 64bits also gonna be considered nostalgia. I love your video, I do. To me it's one of the best and I'd certainly be happy to see you win!
I hope you like mine as well, it's the story of a little elephant searching for his missing chicken friend for months on the streets of Barcelona and Madrid: http://genero.tv/watch-video/6242/

    Good Luck Maik!!

    You got my vote!
