What is Genero?

Genero brings the power of a global creative community of over 300,000 filmmakers to the music and advertising industries. We run a variety of video brief that give filmmakers access to opportunities they would often never get a chance to work on, while our community generates incredible video content for our clients.

Since we launched in 2009 we've been continually evolving the services we offer clients and increasing the opportunities for our filmmakers to take their careers to new levels.

DO

Be polite
We’re all people with our own unique perspectives and experiences. Just because you’re not in the same room as someone doesn't mean it’s ok to be rude. Be friendly and be polite.

Be encouraging
Everyone has different levels of filmmaking skill. We all have things to learn whether we just started out in film, or have years of experience. Don’t be negative. Remember to encourage your fellow filmmakers anytime you comment or give feedback.

Share
Share your experiences, tips, tricks and advice.

Stay on-topic
Especially on video pages, keep your comments and discussion in relation to the video.

DON’T

Don't be mean or demeaning.
Don't intentionally bait people with inflammatory comments or statements.
Don't spam or engage in spammy behaviour.
Don't encourage or engage in any illegal behaviour.

Genero may remove any comments that don’t conform to our community guidelines… but we’d rather not do that, so remember to engage with others in the spirit of the community.
