José Maria Manso Hello, I'm from Portugal, i've just discovered this site minutes ago. I'm glad it exists, besides the utility of serving well known bands with the spread, unknown and best criativity (wonders of the www). It's one more democratic opportunity/way for the real truth to rise. I talk about for those who can express themselves through video, writing, acting .. those who imagine.

The most important to me about this video & site, it's the expression of truth/creation.

- baudrillardo Well while I agree with you I also think that it is an amazingly smart financial strategy by the artist. Imagine that instead of having ideas pitched at you for your next video, you get 300 finished and very well polished videos, completed (costing you 0$) to chose from… I think if you like the artist who's holding the competition it makes otherwise it's quite the exploitative scheme.

- alex whyte to exploit you give nothing back, but here the 'giving' is not necessarily financial, it is the opportunity to create the video in the first place, which I bet 95% of the entrants would not have had if the competition was not held. So it is not exactly exploitative, as I (as I'm sure many others here would agree) am thankful that he gives this opportunity to his fans...it is a smart strategy that doesn't cost much, but I would argue that it is not exploitative

baudrillardo Very nicely put together. I like the framing of elements in the screen quite a lot. As somebody who always wanted to skate but never learned it quite well this video is very much a haunting piece. THE build-up is quite effective. So the song when the release comes is very affecting.
