This music video is a portrait of Connor Adams, a true Irish-American. He was born in upstate New York to Irish immigrant parents and his family moved back to Belfast when he was nine. After spending his formative years in Northern Ireland, he moved back to the United States when he was twenty. Connor is an amateur boxer. He has been boxing since his late teens, but you could say that Connor was born to be a boxer. He was known for doing the "Fighting Irish" stance at the age of two and he would pose for the firefighters and police as they drove by during parades.
Connor works for the parks department in the St. Louis county of Manchester. Connor is also vice president of the St. Louis chapter of The Ancient Order of Hibernians. That group is responsible for the St. Patrick's Day parade in the Irish community of Dogtown. Connor is well known in Dogtown and he often can be spotted at Seamus McDaniel's with his hurling buddies when he's not training hard for a fight. Now at 23, Connor is looking to purchase a home in Dogtown and he hopes to see a free Northern Ireland in his lifetime.
