Not to be too judgmental but if I saw one more guy groping a woman in her underwear, I probably would have puked over my laptop. scoutgemI totally agree, most of the other videos entered were rip offs of early Duran Duran ideas...they reminded me too much of Chauffeur and Girls on Film. This is an extremely well thought out idea and was translated to video so beautifully. I really want this one to win...
scoutgemThis is absolutely brillaint; aesthetically pleasing. I feel as though she is trying to hold the reins on mother nature and stop the catastrophes that the world has been facing on a larger and more frequent scale in the last few years (such as tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados etc) This video is incredible and has a very strong story and message.

As genero tv, according to the contest statement, will decide the winner with DD, this post make m'e feel like genero tv has already his very personal winner for this song.... GeneroSorry but the comment was nothing more than showing appreciation for a quality video and a film maker with obvious talent. His name is on his profile and none of us have ever met or known of him before this video. It has no bearing on the result of the competition and it's hard to understand what your issue is with a small note of appreciation

JeegDear Sanhedralite, the problem is not the quality of the video... the problem is that a comment from a Genero.tv staff could not post a comment during a contest (espacially when you could win money...).

JeegDear Genero.tv staff, again, the probelm is not if the appreciation is "small" or "large"... the real matter is that a member of the staff could not post any kind of comment during a competition but as we understand it's seems that you could change the competition rules as you want and in any time... and this is not professional...
For example why you didin't post a comment to other videos that are of good quality too?

GeneroWe've posted comments on plenty of videos and they will in no way affect the result of the competition, we can absolutely assure you of that. It's very hard to understand what your issue is here and to be honest it sounds like you're just a little bit jealous I'm afraid. All videos will be judged on their merit at the end of the competition and Duran Duran will be choosing the winners

SanhedraliteJeeg, the votes are irrelevant. If it was up to votes, there are far, FAR worse videos than this one with a lot more votes. Maybe peeps make up different accounts to vote for themselves, who knows. Fact is Genero and DD get to choose finalists, and DD the winner. This should be a winner, period. It's up against a couple of other pretty good videos for this song though, so I guess we'll have to see.
