  • The Erie Wire Great work Kevin!

We love all your videos. And yes, we voted for each one individually since they proclaim equal messages through a different group of images.

Unfortunate some users couldn't recognize the quality of your work, and the profound impact it might have to raise awareness about such a deep problem in our culture.

  • diamond_doug We have watched your vote count jump in huge #'s today on all three of your videos, yet your view count stays pretty much the same. Nothing like trying to rig your votes mate.

    • Bayard Studios Hi Doug, thanks for your comment. I have a theory but little data to back it up. Your observation might stem from our process. We've asked our fans to vote when they receive a validation email from Genero. We enter their emails for them to make it easy for them, a two-click vote. I think its plausible that some vote without even coming to Genero to view. Just a theory though. I'd love to hear how you feel about the video?

  • User_53138 It is so interesting to see a video with lots of votes and almost same number of views. It is not that interesting to watch, there are better new pieces in the competition and much more creative. P.S. Three videos voted in the same time by the same author... don't you think is a bit too much?

    • Bayard Studios I see you have no profile, are you a Genero administrator? If you are, please share your data with me and we can figure out what's going on. If you are not a Genero administrator, please provide your data and evidence to a Genero administrator. Thanks.

  • ldmsouza Hi Kevin.
I Really like that kind of images and afects because i think that souds more like a videoclip. So i liked.

    • Bayard Studios Oi, bom dia! Eu amo a Brasil! It took three steps to achieve this video effect, the first was color grading to make the darks darker and the lights lighter and desaturate the colors to black and white. The second step was to apply a half tone effect to simulate printing on paper like comics or newspapers. The final step was to use a cartoonizer effect to get the outlines. I work on a Mac using Final Cut Pro so the details may differ if you're on a PC but the steps would be similar. Hope this helps!

  • jb it's obvious mate! You are stacking your votes. Genero will figure it out too!

    • Bayard Studios Hi jb - that is a serious allegation, mate, I hope it's more than just speculation on your part. On our part, we have been asking for votes from our 10,000+ opt-in fan base in North America, UK, Japan and Korea. These are wonderful fans who have followed us since www.deletedthegame.com. I encourage you to share the data or suspicions you have with Genero rather than conduct a campaign through the comments section. And as you mention, this kind of stacking activity is easy to detect so I'm sure Genero will have a process for dealing with these things.

    • scotty991 Kevin, Don't let this "JB" person get to you. tapping into your fan base is purely a brilliant idea on your part.
