Colin O'ReillyI Loved it! I didnt see any violence in that video? The characters showed eachother affection throughout. It was probably the unsettling way in which it was shot which may of un nerved ya? Blood is aesthetic. I really loved it. The flaming lips cover themselves in blood all the time but the musical content shades all violent connotations of blood.....

SilenzioThis is the point, Colin: I meant " the aesthetic of blood". To me it's an issue. Sorry to contradict The Clash, but to me, not at all" Creative Violence". So, "Stop making sense" ( think Talking Heads) and please, give back values to symbols, images. Especially if you're into Master Lynch.
