Marta Renzi's site-specific dances for locations such as the Guggenheim Museum, Union Station and the Staten Island Ferry, led naturally to her work in video and film. In 1981, she made YOU LITTLE WILD HEART, a half hour video dance for PBS set to the music of Bruce Springsteen, followed in 1989 by a second half-hour for television entitled MOUNTAINVIEW, made in collaboration with filmmaker John Sayles. Since 2005, she has self-produced several short films (see attached FILMOGRAPHY) which have been shown nationally and internationally in film festivals and festivals featuring dance for the camera.
