Crimsoneye I assume the band had a very definite idea in mind of the message/concept they wanted. I can't criticise this video, it's pretty clever, and I congratulate them! But I do agree there were some other videos I would have expected to win based on 'professionalism' of production. Then again the choice always falls on the band/label, and often there have been some pretty interesting wildcards ;)

Crimsoneye Just thought I'd post a general community comment that people should just ignore the members of the site who comment negative things about their videos (if there is no constructive merit to it). I use this site and its competitions as an outlet to try new things and learn more about what I can accomplish, I know I'm not a professional and the majority of the people uploading to this site are similar. Whether you are an amateaur or semipro or a professional using this site to extend their brand, you still learn somthing new every time you make a video. Creative communities are great for what they can achieve through encouragement and advice, and if someone tries to tear you down for trying then they're already worse off than you will be for their comment.
