I, Charlie Rivero was born January 23rd, 1973 in Torrance California. I began playing the drums at the age of 7 and played by ear my entire life emphasizing on dynamics, meter, and groove. I would always find a new way to learn new beats, self-images, and powerful ways of motivation. I moved from Torrance, CA to Las Vegas, NV and lived there for 20 years. I have been drumming now for 29 years, and I carry a great mind, respect, and love for music. I have been in a few different projects, including heavy touring experience, recording experience, and the love to know my sound is a signature thumbprint. When I write and record my own material, I create my drum sounds for the songs, play a little bass, keys, and guitar, for which allot of my own songs have been used in small films, commercials, and other projects. I am supported by the love of my life, my beautiful 4-year-old daughter Sophia. My heart is a very important tool for my soul, body, and mind as that is the source, and drive of my music, and ability for my power behind my drums. My music videos that I shot and edited for my songs on my solo album "Roman" that I recorded on my own can be seen on youtube if you search "Charlie Rivero". My mom and dad have been a very big part of my life, supporting me as I was growing up, and letting me play my music, and I will always keep that in my heart no matter what. As my mom still resides in Las Vegas, NV, and continues to value my art in music, video and photography as my dad, "May He Rest In Peace" was always there for me as well, and always was proud of me, and I of him as agreat father, and as a great soccer player that he was when he played for Newells of Argentina. I have always had a great relationship with my mom and dad, and I always will even when the day I die musically, and personally.
