What really attracted us in the beginning was the opportunity to present and express ideas in music videos. Everybody has a chance as a simple idea can have more of an impact than means. Directing a video for a famous group as well as knowing it would be seen world wide were two very attractive aspects as well.

Being able to show our work online has opened many doors for us: We started making a name for ourselves and other (less famous) artists have asked us to direct their music videos. Obviously winning the competition has given us more exposure which is why we are now hoping artists and music companies will come straight to us in order to develop new ideas together.

We work in a very simple way. We start with a general idea (which will be kept throughout the entire video) and which we will develop in every possible way. All details added lead to our final piece. We like to work together because we find we're more creative that way. This forces us to prove our points, make the other understand why “my” idea is the right one.

Once this has been achieved, we keep on working to develop and polish all of our ideas together. We try to create a modern style of direction, and slightly avant garde, but our main focus is to retain the spirit of the song by keeping up with its beat, its soul.

We have mainly directed music videos for artists with less exposure. This has allowed us to establish our own way of working. Through that experience we have learnt from our mistakes and learned to solve issues in a quick and effective way. From one video to the next, we are looking to push ourselves, setting the bar higher every time – but we are still being cautious - we do not want to fall flat on our faces. We learn to be patient and we try to improve our directing skills each time.

We are looking to direct (in a very near future) a great short film about our generation. Then we would like to pursue our writing on several long features which we started a while back. Our ideal goal would be to direct those features ourselves in order to reach international exposure.

Subsequently we want to continue directing a large amount of music videos for artists of different styles, backgrounds and means. Unlike films, these music videos give us the opportunity to develop ideas in a free and unrestricted way. An original idea needs to be developed and kept throughout a four minute video. We love that concept and really enjoy presenting those ideas (which can sometimes be a little out there!) to artists who want to work with us.
