This looks like a video straight out of a family reunion, a small gathering of loved ones coming together to acknowledge a tragic loss. This should not be entered into a professional contest,soaking up recognition out of empathy,taking attention away from promising talent, filmakers who pay close attention to pacing,lighting,interpretation,editing,and visual consistency. thereareroses Very thought-provoking and creative. I especially liked the stick-figure look of the main character in the field in the last scene...and the fact that she emerged from the water at the beginning. Raised interesting questions about the place of the human being in the natural world. The "Wait for me" theme of the song raised interesting questions about emergence. The painted eyes, and then the "eyes of her eyes" opening...very cool. Great work! The editing work was very clean and sharp. Very professional.
