I'm a freelance TV editor and documentary filmmaker from Cape Town, South Africa. My first 24 minute doccie is going to be broadcast on SABC 2 this year in South Africa. I'm currently studying my MA in screenwriting in Galway, Ireland. With enough funds I'm heading over to the USA in July/August to take part in a screenwriting course at UCLA on a scholarship from the Huston Film School here in Galway. I love many aspects of the filmmaking process and am trying to learn more without compromising my skill level along the way. I am interested in blurring the boundaries between documentary and fiction. I also love video art and photography and would like to get more involved in the music video industry - I love working with music in film - and with images in music, it's the most joyous experience. Filmmaking makes me engage more with people and life then I would otherwise so I hope to always be involved with it and stay passionate about it.
