Read the Q&A with adamwatson Tell us a bit about yourself and your film making experience. I live in London. Work in Soho at a film post production company. I usually work on TV commercials, using the Flame compositing system. I am often not creatively satisfied from my job, so hence have a little projects always going on in the wings. My filmmaking experience. I have done a couple of stop motion films and several small animation projects. In addition I have recently been doing a lot of filming for bands and venues How did you find out about Genero.tv? I filmed Kissy Sell Out as part of the Brick Lane Festival this year. I then went to their MySpace and saw the advertisement for the competition. What made you create and enter your music video? I had an idea instantly. I wasn’t working on any other projects at that moment and thought I could get it all done in time. Tell us a bit about your winning video and how you made it. I did a casting call on Starnow.co.uk, a casting directory. I did say it was for free, but still had 150 interested applications. I cast 17 young actors. 13 turned up on the day, not bad considering it was for free. I asked one of my friends to do second camera. I had 1 camera on a little steadicam, and Charlie filmed all the hand held cutaways. We walked as a group from London Fields towards Brick Lane in Hackney, East London, filming as we went. It was slightly hectic, but we wrapped after 6 hours. Everybody was amazing and made my job so much easier. Editing and colour grading took about 2 weeks. And there you have it.
