  • AdrienneD Are we meant to use the 30th Anniversary version of Ziggy Stardust for the video? Is it OK to use a copy of the song if you already own this CD rather than buying it from itunes? Thanks!

    • Genero Hi Adrienne, please purchase the track from the link provided. Otherwise there might be slight variations in length etc, which means it will be very difficult to re-edit yours to fit correctly to the track which will be used. Thanks, and good luck!

    • Genero We're not using voting to determine any current comps. The vote count is showing the number of "Likes"; the Like button actually shows Likes+Shares though. We're going to make this clearer shortly. Hope that helps :)

      Basically, you retain the rights to your video work (but not the song) after the competition is closed. Different bands/artists/labels have different rules about how their music may be used on other video upload sites - we can't advise how that might work on other sites as it's up to the rights holders of each track.

    • marcoserri i know it's illegal but you can try to get it from a torrent file, at least a good mp3 version. When it will be time to edit it for broadcast issues, then you may be able to buy it ... Or David will help ;)
